Today finally the sun shines again! I enjoyed sunbathing in the garden after school in my new roe-deer shirt from Bershka.

She fell in love with silence
Gorgeous H&M fall 2010 editorial with model Anja Rubik and photographed by Camilla Akrans. The pictures give me a nice, sunny feeling though the clothes obviously are for fall. I love the beautiful lightning...

PS: I tried to follow some blogs I like, but when I click on the follow-button, I get a fail. It doesn't work, is there anyone who knows how to dissolve this?

Monki

Today a new store has opened their doors at the kalverstraat Amsterdam: Monki. It's a scandinavian brand with a kind of boho-chic, streetwear style. I really like it and it makes me think of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's style. I made an outfit of Monki clothes. I hope you like it! And I can't wait to visit the shop ('cause the collection is very payable too! :-)

Today's outfit

Today I wore a nice, comfy outfit to school. An oversized sweater I bought in size L, so it would be very loose-fit. I like it when an outfit is half tight and half baggy/loose-fit, so I put on some tight leggings to compensate the big sweater! What do you think of my outfit?

Layering
Layering always makes an outfit more interesting I think, because there's just more to see in a layered outfit! That's at least one benefit from the fall that is coming up, we can put on more layers again. Scarfs, cardigans, fake fur, blazers...
In almost every store I see those great large knitted waistcoasts, I love them and I can't wait to wear them when it's getting colder. Talking about layering, see these editorials for inspiration!

Every girl loves shoes
Today the shoe reck arrived, wich I had ordered at 'Marketplace.nl' because the Ikea has unfortunately taken the reck out of the collection. Though I had to have a new shoe reck, because I kept on buying shoes and my reck kept getting fuller and fuller, so it's was time to buy another reck. However, my new shoe reck is already quite full too, maybe I have to buy a third one? ;-)
AIFW: Franciscus van der Meer
I have walked for Franciscus van der Meer and I really enjoyed it! The vibe backstage was very nice and comfy. I met a lot of new people but I also ran into a few people that I already knew from other jobs. In my opinion that's one of the greatest aspects of modelling: meeting a lot of new people with mostly the same interests.
Franciscus' collection was based on the Holocaust, wich isn't immediately clear when you see the collection. The make-up is very original and suits the collection very good. The make-up artists applied a piece of tape from ear to ear, and then they airbrushed the black paint on the face. It's a very cool effect!

AIFW: Non by KIM
Although The Amsterdam International Fashion Week has been a while ago, I like to write some things about it. That's because this fashionweek was very special to me: I visited a show for the first time in my life ánd I walked a show too. So for me fashionweek wasn't just watching pictures this time!
I got to visit the show from Kim Bakker with her label Non by KIM. It was an awesome experience that I'll never forget! I loved the environment, the fashion forward people, the different styles, the outfits, the goodiebags, the photographers... Just everything, basicly! :-)
Afterwards I had to write an review about the show, because I was occupating in a workshop: 'how to write a fashion review?' of the Dutch organisation CJP.
Milou van Rossum, fashion journalist at the Volkskrant, gave me a very nice feedback on my review. She said it would be relevant for a fashion magazine like Elle! Wow, that's what I would call a great compliment! That's my dream, to write for a magazine like Elle!
